ALUM

Welcome to Alums’ page…. Anyone of you may know about the long history of our names of school. During 1821-1851, the name of school was Ohio Institution for the Education of the Deaf and Dumb. The second name was Ohio State School for the Deaf in 1908. One of our successful program was created in writing a newspaper as known “The Ohio Chronicles” & “The Mute Chronicles”. It was published by and for the Ohio Institution for the Education of the Deaf and Dumb. OSD’s Chronicles continues to publish today. Our association also publishes The Alumni News.

It evolved but does not affect our Alma Maters and former students who continued to support our association since 1870. Our school is the fifth oldest school of its kind in continuous operation on the United States resulting in productive lives for thousands of successful deaf citizens who have been educated at Ohio School for the Deaf. The long years of member’s contributions were subsidized our strength of OSDAA’s foundation. It also leads into success. Anyone of you may interest to join member.
